Employee Benefits Planning

Martin Tate provides counsel and advice on a variety of employee benefits matters.  We represent and advise clients in designing, implementing, and administering both qualified retirement plans and nonqualified retirement plans such as supplemental executive retirement plans and deferred compensation plans.

The firm also has experience in structuring employment agreements as well as various types of welfare benefit plans, stock option plans, cafeteria plans, and severance agreements.  Additionally, we advise clients on complying with the fiduciary responsibility rules of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), including the prohibited transaciton rules and allocating responsibility among fiduciaries.
