Commercial Lending

Throughout our more than 100 years of practice in commercial-lending law, we at Martin Tate have built longstanding relationships with both lenders and borrowers alike.  Over that time, we have closed countless commercial loans for new properties and businesses, acquired funding for our clients to continue business operations, provided security to banks and institutions making loans, and facilitated a large number of syndicated loans and multi-borrower transactions.  We focus on efficient lending timelines and work with clients to obtain collateral protection.

The firm’s past and present clients include state and national banks and other funding sources, business owners, investors, and other individuals and entities seeking a loan in furtherance of a business venture or existing operation. We also handle regulatory matters at the local, state, and federal levels and deal in various aspects of debtor-creditor relations such as usury, loan charges, consumer-credit protection, and lender liability.
