Biography
Sam Fargotstein is a Shareholder at Martin, Tate, Morrow and Marston, P.C. Sam has extensive trial and mediation experience representing individuals and businesses in various types of civil litigation including automobile accidents, landlord /tenant disputes, personal injury, property damage, premises liability, and breach of contract. Sam is a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator. Sam is also a member of the firm’s Economic Development Team, advising client’s regarding local tax incentive programs and other transactions involving economic and business growth and development in Memphis and Shelby County.
Sam received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and earned his J.D. from the University of Memphis – Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Sam is a member of the American, Tennessee and Memphis Bar Associations, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Wolf River Conservancy, a local non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of Wolf River lands for sustainable recreation and education. Sam and his family are members of Temple Israel Synagogue, where he serves on the Board of Trustees. Sam enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Rebecca, and two amazing daughters, Brianna and Gemma.
