Biography
Mr. Schubert focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions. He has represented numerous Fortune 500 companies, regional and national commercial lenders, public and privately-held companies, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and investors in all types of real estate matters in markets throughout the United States. Mr. Schubert additionally serves as Tennessee State underwriting counsel for Alliant National Title Insurance Company.
Mr. Schubert has maintained a peer rating of AV Preeminent for the Highest Level of Professional Excellence through Martindale Hubble since 2015.
Brett A. Schubert is a native Memphian who graduated from Christian Brothers High School before attending the University of Mississippi where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business in 2000 and went on to obtain his law degree in 2003. While in law school, Mr. Schubert acted as an associate editor for the Mississippi Law Journal of National Security. He was then privileged to clerk for Judge Hamilton Gayden of the First Circuit Court for the Twentieth Judicial District in Davidson County and the Tennessee Supreme Court, under former Chief Justice Frank Drowota. Additionally, Mr. Schubert completed a judicial clerkship for the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals under the late J.C. McLin. Mr. Schubert has, thus, clerked for judges at the trial, appellate, and supreme court levels.
Mr. Schubert is married to Elizabeth Schubert. They have one daughter, Lane, and one son, William. Mr. Schubert is a member of Grace Evangelical Church and the Germantown Chamber of Commerce.
