Adam C. Simpson joined the litigation section of Martin Tate in 2005. Since joining the firm, he has worked in a variety of practice areas in both state and federal courts, including general commercial litigation, environmental litigation, and regulatory compliance matters. In addition, Adam devotes a substantial amount of his practice to assisting small and large businesses with federal copyright and trademark registrations and intellectual property litigation.

During law school, Adam interned with The Honorable Bernice Donald, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee; the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Legal Department, in Washington, D.C.; and, the Vanderbilt Community and Economic Development Clinic. Adam was an Associate Member of the American Inns of Court, Leo Bearman, Sr. chapter, 2007-2010; a member of the Memphis Bar Association’s Leadership Forum, Class of 2009; and has been a member of the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners, District 9 Moral Fitness Committee since 2008. Adam serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Friends for Life and was selected by Mid-South Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2009 and 2010.
